THE PROJECT

RUS Bus is a 39,000-square-foot off-street bus facility on the old Dillon Supply site, opened to riders on August 3, 2025. It sits next to Raleigh Union Station so regional buses and Amtrak actually meet. GoTriangle commuter routes use it; GoRaleigh local service stays at Moore Square.

The same structure is built to take Union West above it: one 23-story residential tower. That overbuild is not in construction.

OUR ROLE

Civil engineer for the bus facility. Grading, drainage, and utilities inside the building footprint. ADA on the bus loop and passenger access. Coordinating bus-loop slope against structural bus clearances. 3D civil coordination with the other trades. Vertical phasing and permitting so the facility could open before the tower.
